Road Safety

The UK has one of the best road safety records in the world. But it pays to have a good knowledge of road safety whether you are walking, driving or cycling.

Cycling

Cycling is a great way to get around Aberdeen and stay healthy. As a cyclist you have the right to use the road and cycle path network but you must still follow the Highway Code.

Find out more about staying safe while cycling in Aberdeen from Aberdeen City Council and from the road safety charity, Think!.

Cycling Maps

Aberdeen Cycle Forum, together with Aberdeen City Council, have produced a map for cyclists in the city. Download your free cycle map or pick one up from local libraries and the Tourist Information shop on Union Street.

Sustrans also provide a range of information about the best cycle routes up and down the UK.
